Call for Program Proposals
The International Reading Association will host its 53rd Annual Convention on May 4–8, 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia. The theme of the convention will be “Engaging Learners in Literacy.” Join the hundreds of literacy leaders and reading professionals who will share with educators at every level the fruits of their research and teaching experience. Keynote speakers will include Jamie Lee Curtis, Gail Gibbons, Dr. Andreas Schleicher, Suzanne Fisher Staples, Rafe Esquith, Christopher Paul Curtis, and Sherman Alexie.
